THE SOUP

Set your mind free and let the hustle of your day aside for a moment and fly with me in this metaphor:

Consider yourself a soup; in fact, we could say that you are, we are, a cosmic soup.

The creative source, the field, God, the universe, however you wish to name it, has used many ingredients to prepare you, create you.

If you are a soup, you are, among other things, water, without it, you wouldn't be soup. There is a variety of ingredients within you, and just as there are ingredients, there are different presentations.

The soup doesn't eat itself; it is meant to be tasted, to nourish, and to be repeated, and why not, improved. In fact, that would be the goal, if you choose to pursue it.

When you prepare or eat something made by someone else, you always offer your feedback in one way or another. Why? Well, that depends on the person, but the ultimate goal is to improve the process, enhance its quality, make it tastier, more nourishing. And when you achieve that delicious soup… what do you want to do? Share it!, let others enjoy it, and bring more people to taste that delight.

The flavor of your soup won't please everyone. Some will love it, others not so much, and some may just say "meh", that depends on them, not you. However, don't doubt that, no matter what, it will nourish those who get a chance to taste it.

What flavor do you want your soup to have? By analyzing what you have in your fridge, you'll understand your ingredients. You can cook it, repeat it, learn the right portion, and keep improving it indefinitely.

The portion is important: if you serve too little, it won't create the same experience, and the same goes for serving too much. It's essential to learn what the right portion is.

Sometimes we serve too much soup, sometimes too little, and often, it's the consumer who doesn't appreciate the taste or portion because they're looking at their phone or thinking about who knows what while eating. That, however, is out of your control.

Finally, you also need to learn how to maintain it because you're not going to serve all the soup at once. So, you learn to prepare just the right amount and how to keep both the ingredients and the preparation fresh.

As you can see, this whole soup thing is a learning process. It will likely take more than one attempt to get it right. If it's delicious the first time, great! But trust me, it can always be better. The key is not to obsess over improvement to the point that you forget to enjoy the soup you’ve already made.

I can help you discover your ingredients so you can give your soup more flavor. Are you ready to discover your ingredients?
